TREND magazine is a completely student-run publication focusing on fashion, beauty, body, and lifestyle for women and men in the Iowa State University community. Miller served on the lifestyle editorial committee. Through this experience she attended news meetings, sought out sources and wrote stories to be published in the magazine.
